Inspiration:
Space holds a particular soft spot for me. The Apollo landing on the moon in July 1969 caught my interest and then all the Sci-fi promoting the imagination and science of "out there" keeps me intrigued and inspired. The original Star Trek tv show introduced the communicator - much like our modern day cell phone. The video communication on computer monitors have taken nearly 38 years to be possible (and affordable). Now with a webcam and tech like Skype, you can have a video call for the cost of the webcams and internet connection.
If you know someone with a physical challenge, you know that their efforts each day far exceed what someone without a physical challenge manages. The question can become, what are your mental barriers? How do you overcome those?

"Pursue your dreams!" I always wanted to be in entertainment, and one year had the opportunity to see firsthand what goes into filming a TV series. No, I didn't follow the dream, but I found out more in the 8 or so days on the set than I would have just wondering and not taking action!"
Define what "success" means to you. Then pursue it, prepare for it, know it when you reach it and then redefine it if your idea of success changes. Don't let the ads, marketing, and others tell you what you desire. Yes, this is a tough process, but you will find your path more readily when you know what you are passionate and focused to reach. I've found the journey to be the most interesting part. Maybe you will too.
Don't Let Fear Get You! The media, "studies" and "experts" will always focus on the dramatic, traumatic, or items that scare. That is a fact of life. In a 30 second ad, "news report" or 200 word article, you cannot know the important facts, relevant issues or concerns, comparisons to similar times or events. Do some research if the topic is related to your life, family, or work. Then, decide what you believe - or learn more.
Focus your attention on the right things in life. Things that impact you directly - does it really affect your life if a study says that people who "do a certain activity forty thousand times more than you ever have" will have bad results? Does it really matter if the temperature of the planet goes up .1 degree in the next 50 years - as it has varied by vast amounts over thousands and millions of years? Did humans cause it or it is more likely that natures' own processes contribute significantly to the result? The sun, Earth's path around the sun, volcanoes and the decay process for plant material and organic waste may have a far more significant impact - scientists are still debating. What is the cost if rash decisions lead to calamity? In the meantime, your life is moving forward, are you?

one adventure in an interim job, she was an extra on two Perry Mason TV movies.
